LIKE A SNOWBALL DOWN A MOUNTAIN, an interactive exhibition — performance with the group MOMI, gallery of Faculty of Fine Arts, Skopje, Macedonia (2015)
The work represents an installation consisted of drawing of a network that covers the entire area and is a foundation for upgrading with activators (triggers) of digital content, which can be followed by a specific application on a tablet or mobile phone.
Ana Frangovska in the catalogue for the exhibition of MOMI will write:
MOMI this concept of connectivity, networking, and interdependence visualizes and enspace, showing it through plastic and network diagrams and (cubic) charts placed on the walls, materializing them in certain places, such as 3D threads of the network. The connecting points consist of individual and personal information provided through creative thought (by MOMI members or the audience that is invited to participate) triggers, i.e. symbols or codes, that by using an application for reading acknowledges the aura and de¬termines the chosen content behind any given visual "code" from the large data base.
Each trigger is linearly associated with other completed or unfilled "module" of the system, and the visitor is invited to take part in an interactive performance, becoming participator in shaping the work and restitute the "snow mountain" with new information, data and initiated creativity. In advance offered rules for shaping the trigger, he, the recipient of the work, creates its own identifying symbol, that is filled online (upload) in the network with the "hidden" anticipatory and creative content that is read later on (like photography, video, animation, digital drawing, etc.).
Ana Ivanovska in its trigger and its aura that simply stems from its distinctive art and visual solutions of the graphic and colorist probes (and setting exhibition in France) stresses the name of the city of Paris that despite the exceptional importance for the art generally, in the last period is particularly current city in political connotation...
