"Ana Ivanovska has inclination towards ambitious spatial situations based on the interpretation and presentation of various archetypal representations. The strongly expressed symbolism and spatial relations in her works are perceived at first glance, and regardless of whether they refer to the treatment of a certain topic, material, colour selection, etc., we are faced with an author who continually pays attention both to the sensory, as well as to the complete contemplative experience. The complex realizations of her works — ambient/installations, dominating with their large(r) dimensions — are differentiated through several focus points: the experience and treatment of space; the use of the material; the geometric and colouristic symbolism" — Maja Chankulovska-Mihajlovska.
