Created during the pandemic period, Inner Circle is a collaborative work between Ana Ivanovska and Zhanhong Liao, developed within the framework of the Galichnik Art Colony, whose central theme was “Coexistence”. The participants were invited to collaborate with an international artist and create a shared artwork inspired by Galichnik, the experience of the colony and coexistence.

Through this collaboration, the artists explore the restoration of the lost relationship between humans and nature, as well as the continuous search for understanding one’s own nature through inner observation and a sense of unity with the universe. Inspired by the landscape and atmosphere of Galichnik, Inner Circle reflects on the primordial and the return to one’s roots, encouraging a deeper awareness of nature and a sense of fulfillment achieved through inner peace and the celebration of life.
