Under Skin
The visual project titled UNDER SKIN represents an exploration of internal transformations, where the focus is placed on a various mental states and situations, emotions and feelings during the period of quarantine in the Covid-19 pandemic.
The impact of the entire pandemic situation was inevitably reflected in the artist photography, which contain repetitive elements of masks and gloves forming an actual grid, behind which, the mouth is left Breathless. They are a visual manifestation of the fear of the spread of the virus, the hopeless situation and limited freedom as a barrier in socializing with the world and represent a kind of relationship between the visible world and the invisible dangers.
Other works contain an optimistic attitude, because that period also contributed to increased respect for the value of life, finding one's own inner peace through love, togetherness and celebrating life through reuniting with loved ones and strengthening mutual ties.
